My reason for not buying a Seastar 1000 is the existence of the Seastar 2000 Professional. I needed no further reason to NOT buy a Seaster 1000. The Seastar 2000 is specced out like a Planet Ocean for less than 1/4 the price and it looks incredible with its chaotic wave pattern etched into the gradient dial. The Seastar 1000 is a dive-style watch but the Seastar 2000 is a dive watch, period. I knew that I only had eyes for the 2000 the second I saw it and I love it.

The newer reps are virtually 1-1 now and the movement is actually better than the gen its using a mecha quartz movement

Belive it or not Citizen has way more special and exclusive caliber then Tudor. 9054 caliber is one of the kind movement purposely built just for this watch and nothing else,it’s more precise then 9051 and has 8 hours better power reserve,it also has anti mag of 16000 a/m and it beats 28800.

All info ive ever read leads me to believe they ask a high price promising "navy seal" high quality top watches - but the product doesnt even deliver as well regarding condensation as a $25 Casio - this makes Luminox over priced over hyped junk to me.

I contacted Fossil & the tech couldn’t help me because they don’t keep information in vintage watches. Do you have any idea what two batteries I might need? Thanks.

Their whole premise is a bit misleading. You aren't building a watch... you are casing a watch movement. I'd want a kit of parts to build it up from the bare movement plate. I'll pass on these.

Every automatic Swiss watch I’ve had serviced cost at least $1,000. Chronographs are always more…. Service wait times at quality shops (like RGM) these days are insane.
